Start with the concern, not the treatment.

Name what you have noticed and the guide explains what is causing it before it names a single treatment. That is the order the consultation follows too, and it is why patients leave with a plan rather than a procedure.

22 guides Reviewed by Dr Rakib Uddin AHPRA MED0001936872

In short

Why the concern comes before the treatment

The same concern can have several different causes, and the cause decides the treatment. A softening jawline can be lost volume, descending tissue or an overworked muscle, and each of those is treated differently. These 22 guides explain what is actually happening before they suggest anything.

Choosing a treatment before understanding the concern is how people end up over-treated, under-treated, or disappointed by a result that was never going to address what was bothering them. Reading first costs nothing and makes the consultation far more useful.

By where it shows

Four ways in, however you would describe it.

Patients rarely arrive with a treatment name. They arrive with a part of the face, or a thing they have started noticing in photographs. These are the four ways that conversation usually opens.

Lines & skin ageing

Expression lines, skin texture and the changes that arrive gradually. Each guide explains what is happening in the skin before any treatment is discussed.

Facial shape & structure

Jawline, chin, cheek and nose concerns that come down to structure: volume, support and how the profile reads from the side.

Eyes, lips & jaw

The features people notice first, and the concerns that sit around them: tired eyes, changing lips, an overworked jaw.

Body, skin & hair

Beyond the face: body contour, skin laxity, sweating, hair density, and problems left by previous treatment elsewhere.

All 22 concerns

Every concern, explained.

Each guide covers what the concern actually is, why it happens, the different types Dr Rakib sees, and the treatments worth reading about once you understand the cause.
