What is nose thread lift?

A nose thread lift, sometimes called a HIKO thread lift, uses ultra-fine threads made of polydioxanone (PDO) inserted beneath the skin of the nose to create a supportive structure. The threads add subtle lift and definition to the bridge and tip, and as they settle they stimulate the skin's own collagen, so the shape continues to refine for a period after treatment.

Threads and nose filler do different jobs. Threads provide structure and lift; filler adds volume and smooths a profile line. Many noses are best served by one or the other, and some by a planned combination. Where the goal is genuine size reduction or the concern is functional, such as breathing, surgery is the better answer and a referral is made rather than a treatment sold.
