When to contact

Reasons to reach out.

A few common reasons patients contact us. Anything not covered here is welcome too, if you're unsure whether to call, call.

  • Discuss a concern and what (if anything) treatment could offer
  • Arrange a planned treatment after assessment
  • Get a second medical opinion on a plan from elsewhere
  • Ask about a post-treatment concern if you are an existing patient
  • Request a copy of your treatment records

Booking questions

Before you reach out.

The practical questions we're asked most often about getting started.

Deposits, notice periods and what happens if you need to change an appointment are set out in full in the booking and cancellation policy.

How quickly will I hear back?

Within one business day, usually faster. WhatsApp is typically the quickest channel during clinic hours, and suits photos and referral letters; phone is best for anything urgent.

How long is the first consultation and what does it cost?

Forty-five minutes with Dr Rakib for $75, redeemed against your treatment if you go ahead. You leave with a written plan and itemised pricing. There is no obligation to book anything, and the fee is not refunded if you do not attend.

What if I need to change or cancel my appointment?

Give us at least 24 hours' notice and your deposit moves to the new appointment, or is refunded in full if you prefer. With less notice, or if you do not attend, the deposit is not refunded and a new one is needed to rebook. The booking and cancellation policy sets out the detail.

Can I have treatment at the first visit?

Usually no, by design. The first visit is for assessment and planning. Treatment is booked separately once you've had time to consider the plan, unless both you and the doctor agree a simple, low-risk treatment is clearly appropriate on the day.

I've had treatment elsewhere and something feels wrong, can you see me?

Yes. Post-treatment concerns from other clinics are seen as medical appointments. Severe pain, blanching skin or vision changes after filler are time-critical: call rather than message, and seek emergency care if you cannot reach a doctor promptly.
